140.6 For Jack
Three years ago, my nephew Jack passed away just before his third birthday after a courageous battle with Batten Disease, a rare, fatal neurodegenerative illness.
Jack lived for 1,000 unforgettable days. Since then, our family and close friends have built Jack’s Thousand Days Foundation, helping families across Texas and beyond navigate early childhood illnesses with compassion and hope.
On November 16, 2025, I’ll race Ironman Arizona, 140.6 miles consisting of a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike, and 26.2-mile run, to honor Jack’s short but mighty life. I’ll be signing “For Jack” in ASL at the finish line, because every stroke, pedal, and step is for him.
Please consider donating $1 per mile ($140.60) or any amount meaningful to you. Every donation helps provide financial and emotional support to families facing unimaginable challenges.
Together, we can turn Jack’s 1,000 days into thousands more for others.
